Jeremy's Flat Stanley comes to WA - March 2011

Flat Stlanley came to WA because he wanted to see the Space Needle!

So Granny & Pa took him to Seattle! It was a cloudy, rainy day but we had fun!

Flat Stanley met another Flat Stanley visiting the Space Needle also!

Then we went to the Pacific Science Center. We saw a Stars War Exhibition and Yoda was awesome!

We went to Pike's Market and he saw Rachel the brass pig, lots of fish, fruit, vegetables, flowers and crafts! Rachel had just returned to her spot after being away to be repaired. She was hit by a Taxi Cab! Yikes! I am glad she recovered.

He saw the man throwing the fish and got to have his picture taken with the Dungeness Crab! Boy, his feet got cold!

On the week end we went to Snoqualmie Falls. Flat Stanely thought they were awesome!

He got a little wet and wrinkled from the spray of the water!

We stopped to look at Mt. Si. You can see the line where the snow came half way down the mountain. Below the snow all of the trees were green! Awesome!

Pa also set Flat Stanley on a prickly blackberry bush! Ouch!

We also went to Olalie State Park in the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest.

There was still snow on the path but the trees were really green.

Flat Stlanley sat on the green moss in the tree. It was so soft!

He also played in the snow until his feet got cold!

Then we drove back to Snoqualmie and stopped to see the golf course. It was picturesque with the green grass and the Cascade Mountains in the background.

Flat Stanley liked playing on the rocks by the river!
