Besta takes a trip back to Indiana

Jason & Julie went on a business outing to Nashville and Besta got to baby-sit for 3 days.

Jaki and Jeremy came for the week end also so there was lots of time to play.
Olivia is observing Jeremy playing with his Leapster Video Game.

Olivia enjoyed listening to a story on Jeremy's FP3 Player.

Fun on the rocks by Uncle Jason's pond.

It was a windy day!

"Don't tell Mommy that Besta let me play with a stick!" ( :

The fish swarmed to eat the popcorn that Jeremy threw to them!

Elmo says "I Love You!"

Time for a wagon ride!

March Maddnes is here and this Purdue fan is ready!!!

GO BOILERS!!!

Fun at the park!!

Aunt Jaki taught Olivia to go down the sprial slide.
She was really good at it and loved it!!

No such thing as too high for Olivia.
Aunt Jaki was busy doing underdogs!!

Time for a walk in the neighborhood!

And then Besta had to say Good-Bye!
Needless to say I miss these little people very much!!
I treasure the time I get to spend with all of them.

Snoqualmie Pass March 2009

Last Sunday we took a drive up to the pass via I 90. The sun was shining in Snoqualmie and 20 miles away it was snowing!
The pass got 16 inches the night before.
The pictures would have been outstanding with a blue sky but.................
this will have to do!

This is one of many ski slopes covered with skiiers and snowboarders!
You can see every seat on the lift is full!

The scenery on the side roads (if plowed) was breathtaking!!!

This is the road we took to get to Denny Peak Trail in the sumer.
It is our favorite hike! But you can't even get close to it now.

So we just drove around where we found a road that had a single lane plowed, hoping we didn't meet a car!

What a sight!

Looking into the woods around a giant Douglas Fir was amazing!

The pictures don't do these sights justice. Reality is the best!

There is a creek under the snow!

Mother Nature is amazing!
Click on the photos to enlarge and you will see the detail.
Enjoy the scenery!!

March 6, 2008 in Snoqualmie

Once again we had 4 inches of unseasonable snow in Snoqualmie. Here in WA this makes the highways impossible, but the mountains are majestic!
When the clouds disappeared and the sun came out I decided I would take a winter photo of Mt. Si to compare to the fall photo!
There is nothing like color, but all are breathtaking in their own way.

The cool, crisp colors were way more gorgeous in reality than the photo can possible portray.

This is the same view as above, in the fall.

This is a close up of Mt. Si from North Bend!

Not a bad view from the grocery store parking lot.
I will never complain.....we just never get tired of the scenery here in the Northwest!
