Our trip to Indianapolis - February 14-22, 2009

Jason and Jim worked in the basement all week. They finished the framing. After Jason finishes the electric and plumbing work he will have the sheet rock done. It will give them a bedroom/exercise room, recreation/TV room, bar, office and storage area.

I went with Olivia to her Gymnastics class. What fun!
She is afraid of nothing and does a great job!

Olivia loved helping Besta with the dishes. She had a tough job scrubbing this pot but she did not give up until it was clean! She is a great helper!

The basement is looking good with all the studs up and the soffits finished. The bathroom is framed and ready for pocket door and shower. Jim had a great time working with Jason all week.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIE!!!

Jason took Julie out for dinner and Bestefar and Besta got to baby-sit! A great time for all of us!! However, Olivia was confused as to why Mommy wasn't there for birthday cake with candles and Gavin much prefers that Mommy puts him to bed!! ( :

Thank you Jason and Julie for a fun week with you and our precious grandchildren!!

Super Bowl Sunday - February 1, 2009

Bud & Peg came over to watch the game. But first we decided to drive to the new Casino here in Snoqualmie. It is called SnoVegas!
The inside is huge and has gorgeous beams on the ceiling.
They look more massive than the photo shows.
We wandered around and checked out the restaurants and spent our $5 in the nickel machine.


Peg was the big winner, doubling her money to $10!!

Then on home to watch Super Bowl XLIII

Steelers 27 Cardinals 23

Great game with a crazy ending!

3 years ago today on Super Bowl Sunday (Seahawks played the Steelers) we got word from IN that we had a new Grandbaby!!

Olivia Mary was born to Jason & Julie (2-5-06)

Happy Birthday to Olivia on Thursday!! And thanks for singing to us on the phone today!!
