Chateau Ste Michelle

Sunday we visited several wineries in Woodinville.

We started the day with a used book sale on Mercer Island! Then went on a driving tour of the UW campus and to the university book store!

Micky also experienced a major NW windstorm and was made a believer that it rains in Seattle daily!! Every day was filled. Micky returned to Seattle to visit the Art Museum and Space Needle via the monorail before returning to MT today.

We had a great time!

Day 5

Today Micky went into Seattle and did the Underground Tour. She says it was fantastic! She also visited the new library and was very impressed. Then went to the Elliot Bay Book Store in Pioneer Square, shopped at some of her favorite stores, returned to Pike's Market, and had supper at the Waterfront. She took no photos! ) : She said it was sunny most of the day downtown...............only a few showers........not the case here for sure!! The high winds are moving in tonight!

Day 4

Today we went from shopping mall to shopping mall.

We stopped at Twede's Cafe in North Bend for some Twin Peaks Cherry Pie.

Micky is from the era that remembers the Twin Peaks show that was filmed here.

Day 2 & 3 with Micky

First stop.... Snoqualmie Falls
Then downtown Seattle to Pier 65

Micky's visit - Day 1

Jim & Micky took the 14 mile hike on Snoqualmie Pass on the Pacific Crest Trail.

It started out at 37 degrees and went up to 48 degrees at mid day. They said it was awesome hiking weather! The leaves were turning colors and the waterfalls were running! There was a little snow on the trail after passing the Katwalk.

And why is Micky drying her feet? Could it be a nice sunny day and 48 degrees, or could her feet have slippped into the water while crossing the rocks??!! ( :
