Steve & Jean visit Snoqualmie - May 2007

Snoqualmie Falls
There always seems to be a rainbow at the bottom of the falls!

Hike on the Middle Fork River in the Snoqualmie National Forest....
There were many trees across the path and damaged trees from the flooding in November....
But still a gorgeous hike!

Snack time!

Playing cards on the Clipper Ship headed for Victoria, Canada
Butchart Gardens in Victoria

Awesome tree!

The Dungeness Spit near Sequim, WA is the longest sandbar in the world...

5 miles long

Driftwood on the Spit

Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park

Hoh Tropical Rainforest on the Olympic Peninsula
The moss was phenomenal!
River running through the Hoh Forest

Seastacks in the Pacific Ocean along the west coast of Washington

The Rhododendron is the State flower and they were at their peak!!
Gorgeous!

Mt. Rainier National Park
The mountain still stands in all of its glory........

But may of the rivers left their banks and are 4 times as wide as they were before the flooding in November of 2006. Many areas had so much damage that they are totally destroyed or they will never be repaired. This area above is an example of the damage.

A day of Dominos at Snoqualmie Falls Park before
Steve & Jean returned to MN. We had a great time renewing old friendships!
We miss you!!
