Winter in Snoqualmie - Karen Kobeck visits from Ilinois - January 2007

My drive to the grocery store is awesome.....even in the winter!
I stopped by Snoqualmie Falls to see the icicles!
Mt. Si from Snoqualmie
Karen, Peg & Bud Kirk, & Jim and I visited Pike's Market in Seattle
Karen bought Salmon & Dungeness Crab to take back to Illinois on dry ice!
Then we crossed Elliott Bay. You can see the Seattle skyline and containers coming and going on Container Ships.
We walked on Alki Beach, enjoyed the view of the Olympic Mountains and the Ferries!
We went to Salty's on Elliott Bay for dinner. It is "One of the World's Great View Restaurants". This was the view of Seattle from our table! If you come to visit us we will surely take you here!!
Jim, Bud, Karen, Bonny & Peg with the skyline behind us.
The next day we took a drive up to Snoqualmie Pass.
There isn't as much snow as last year but it is still beautiful!!
We came back to our neighborhood and we see the green golf course!
So you can see we have a variety of scenery!
Thanks for coming Karen! We had a great time!
